Diamond Cut
To produce mirror finishes and two-tone wheels, we use a diamond cut process.

Here the aluminum wheels are pre-painted and the surface is then turned using a diamond cutting tool. By removing a small amount of paint and aluminum, a shiny metallic, finely-honed surface is revealed. Diamond cut is performed especially on the wheel flange or on the spokes. This is how two-tone wheels are made – a real eye-catcher!
Flowforming
Facing the challenge of making the aluminum wheel ever lighter, for years the RONAL GROUP has successfully made use of flowforming, a technology that is popular in the OEM sector.

Flowforming is a process in which the rim well of the cast blank is rolled out over a die. The result is greater strength with a thinner wall and higher load capacities. This production technique makes it possible to reduce volume in the rim well, sometimes by as much as 50%. This substantial weight saving cuts consumption levels and thus benefits the environment at the same time.
The company is also able to offer the wide variety of designs that is popular with customers, while maintaining its high safety standard. Flowforming can additionally be combined with other technologies such as Undercut and Reverse.
Laser
With its cutting-edge laser technology the RONAL GROUP offers greater freedom of design and individuality to upgrade the surface finish of wheels.

Giving maximum levels of flexibility and creativity, this precision laser process enables a wide selection of lettering, decoration, logos, and detailed patterns through the application of color accurate to nearest micron. The scope of ideas for wheels is almost boundless thanks to the filigree designs available here.
Undercut
Material that is not essential for wheel stability can go – thereby saving weight.

This principle of removing material behind the spokes that is not relevant to strength goes by the name of undercut for wheel manufacturing at the RONAL GROUP. Undercuts are produced either by machining or flowforming and can reduce wheel weight by between 600 g and 1.4 kg depending on dimension and design.
RONAL and SPEELINE CORSE winter wheels are marked with the snowflake icon. These winter-ready, pre-treated and painted alloy wheels are always the right choice even in the cold and wet season. They not only defy the weather, but are also a visual highlight in the snow to boot.
We are the first manufacturer ever to provide all our aftermarket wheels with their own sustainability label. This provides information about the CO2 savings achieved during production of that wheel. We do this by performing precise traceability of the CO2 footprint, from product development through material procurement and manufacturing to recycling.
Don’t just opt for the perfect design, but also for more sustainability and with the same original equipment manufacturer quality. The following label will help you in your decision:
